AGATTA
Fiction, Inspirational, Women
Set in late 19th century New Orleans, Agatta is the story of a young woman who finds spiritual liberation after a series of personal tragedies. The heroine’s journey takes her from a loving family to a bordello. Despite her circumstances, Agatta Lugar finds romance, friendship, and salvation.
Agatta is a distinctly different novel. Composed of twenty-five chapters that read like novellas; however, they are intertwined by a linear plot. At its core, the novel is about spiritual growth. Yet the sub-themes of romance and friendship enrich the story, and create a tale that is both compelling and accessible.
